Road Rage

A woman in her 40's was telling me about an incident of road rage she recently experienced. Yes they have it in Japan too.

Long story short, a woman in a parking lot got pissed off at her and followed her around town on the roads for 40minutes until they both parked at another place and the young woman (in her20s with a "baby on board" sign) argued with her for 10 minutes.

The student said "Young people today are bad."

I said "Well, sometimes I have trouble with people who are not so young."

She considered this and said "Hmm, that's true, I had trouble with a man, about 50, a few days ago."

We talked some more about her driving troubles then she asked me if I had had any trouble here. Yes I have.

"Here in Japan?" she said, very surprised.
"Sure, sometimes. I have trouble in America too, but I live here now so sometimes I have trouble here."
"But you are a foreigner..."
"Yes? And? I don't understand"
"Oh but I think foreigners dont have trouble in Japan because we are so kind to them."
